Time for the Placer Arts Fundraiser - Out of the Box! 100 artists and 100 different interpretations of the same size box. See them all April 14 at the Arts Building during the first Artwalk of the season. Ours is "in progress"!

PEACE for Families

We are proud of our daughter, Heather. She was recently certified as a volunteer for PEACE for Families, a non-profit organization providing comprehensive services to victims of domestic violence and sexual assault in Placer County. So... Saturday, April 2 we will give 20% of all sales to PEACE. We are open 10 to 3 with a special reception 3 to 7. Wine will be available from Fawnridge Winery for $5. per glass. Take the tumbler with you for an additional $25. We will have food and music so it should be a fun afternoon into early evening. Matt will be with us and we will be demonstrating. Come enjoy!

Aerial installed

Aerial is residing in Loyola Medicine, Burr Ridge, Illinois thanks to LBD Fine Art. I hope Aerial lifts the spirits of those waiting in the big green chairs!

DIY Network airing April 18

We made special glass teardrops for the DIY backyard makeover in Folsom. They were lit with color changing lights. Quite an interesting effect! The show will air on DIY Network April 18.

Hannah's Painting

Hannah found this old photo of our first year in our Auburn Glass Studio. We built it in 1981, I believe. Then she painted it for our Christmas present! What a surprise! I am amazed at how much detail she was able to recreate - that photo was a bit small and hard to interpret. Fun to see us young and full of dreams! I have it hanging in my office now.
